Office Emergency Action Plans
The goal of an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is to outline procedures and information that could be used by staff in the event of an emergency. Information includes office location description, shelter-in-place/evacuation procedures, and staff contact information, among other important information. You can find EAP templates, examples, and answers to frequently asked questions on this site.
Disaster Response Notes Submissions
ResponseNotes is Nebraska Extension's system for helping our Extension family "touch base" or "phone home" when disaster strikes. It's a quick-capture form you can use to let Nebraska EDEN, Nebraska Extension administration, EDEN, and our USDA liaisons know whether you've been affected, to ask for help, and to share news about what you're doing to recover or to help your constituents recover.
Newsletters
We send newsletters on a regular basis to Extension employees, and newsletters include upcoming training notices, information from partners, and other key updates. During times of disaster response, newsletters may be sent more frequently.
Reach Out for Wellness
The Reach Out for Wellness toolkit and resources helps promote wellness in the Extension community after disaster events. Your efforts in times of crisis make a significant difference in the lives of others — but should not be made at the expense of your own health and well-being. Use this simple toolkit to better understand your wellness, learn strategies to improve it and seek help from your support system.
